Priscilla A. Taylor is a native Floridian, born and raised in Fort Pierce, Fla. Commissioner Taylor has an extensive business and political background. She has a solid understanding of a diverse range of business management applications, government management and a strong business acumen which reaches across a number of spectrums. She has owned and operated two multiline insurance agencies, and a Consulting Company.
Prior to relocating to the Atlanta area in 2022, Commissioner Taylor served as Palm Beach County Commissioner and Mayor of Palm Beach County. She was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in November 2004 and re-elected twice as the District 84 Fla State Representative. In addition, Commissioner Taylor was elected to the Port of Palm Beach where she served as Chairwoman twice.
She has received numerous awards and recognitions both locally and nationally.
She has a Bachelors Degree from Barry University, Miami, Florida and an MBA degree in Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, Florida.
She sees owning a home as a fundamental human right. She has a proven track record of working to be sure that each individual enjoy the benefit of homeownership and other available opportunities to enhance their lives.
